Another Thai soldier has died. The First Army Region honors the brave soldier, Sgt. Kampanat Thongsaeng, who sacrificed his life defending Thailand’s land at the border in Sa Kaeo Province.
On 22 Dec 2025, the First Army Region expressed deepest condolences to the family of Sgt. Kampanat Thongsaeng, assigned to the 1st Infantry Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, King's Guard. He died while performing his duty protecting the nation’s sovereignty at the Thai-Cambodian border area near Ban Khlong Phaeng, Ta Phraya District, Sa Kaeo Province on 22 Dec 2025.
The First Army Region honors his sacrifice as a soldier who gave his life defending Thailand. They will conduct a respectful funeral and ensure the family receives full benefits and support.
