Eastern Command destroyed two scam gang buildings on the Poipet side after discovering Cambodia used them as sniper posts firing into Thailand's Aranyaprathet area. Currently, no further shooting has occurred, and the scam gang has all fled.
On 22 Dec 2025 GMT+7 at 13:48, reporters reported that Eastern Command carried out an operation destroying two buildings in the Poipet area opposite Tha Kham Subdistrict, Aranyaprathet District. Relevant authorities confirmed these buildings were used by a scam network and Cambodia used them as sniper posts firing into Thai territory in Aranyaprathet.
Additionally, it was confirmed that an anti-drone system was installed inside the buildings. After the attack, the buildings were damaged, and there was no return fire from Cambodia. Furthermore, the scam network fled the buildings.
