
The Ministry of Labor conducted an inspection visit to the Region 1 Worker Rehabilitation Center to elevate disabled insured workers, enabling them to return to daily life with stability and dignity.
On 6 January 2026 GMT+7, Ms. Bunnada Supiyapan, the Ministry of Labor spokesperson (political affairs), along with Mr. Kan Kittiampon, advisor to the Minister of Labor (foreign affairs), visited to monitor operations at the Region 1 Worker Rehabilitation Center in Bang Phun Subdistrict, Mueang District, Pathum Thani Province. They were welcomed by Ms. Wantana Natphoolwat, inspector from the Social Security Office, Ms. Boonruang Rojanasiri, director of the Region 1 Worker Rehabilitation Center in Pathum Thani, staff, and rehabilitation participants.
Ms. Bunnada stated that the Ministry of Labor prioritizes protecting workers and continuously rehabilitating those injured at work. The Region 1 Worker Rehabilitation Center is a key agency providing comprehensive services including medical care, physical therapy, vocational rehabilitation, and preparation for returning to life and work. The center offers full rehabilitation services covering vocational, medical, psychological, and social aspects. Additionally, the Ministry of Labor, through the Social Security Office, supports insured persons in all aspects to ensure they receive benefits in all seven cases, even when employees face injury or unsafe conditions, adhering to the principle of leaving no one behind.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Labor spokesperson (political affairs) and the minister's foreign affairs advisor toured the vocational rehabilitation department, observing training in various fields such as office work, crafts, food and nutrition, and coffee shop skills, and presented souvenirs to encourage those undergoing rehabilitation.
The Ministry of Labor spokesperson (political affairs) praised the operations of the Region 1 Worker Rehabilitation Center in Pathum Thani for its attentive care of rehabilitation participants. She also thanked the center’s dedicated staff and offered encouragement to all staff and participants committed to self-improvement, overcoming challenges, and developing their work potential on par with ordinary workers.
The Ministry of Labor remains committed to improving the quality of life for disabled individuals, enabling them to return to daily living with stability and dignity. It assures that the Ministry and Social Security Office will provide care until full physical and vocational rehabilitation is achieved.
