Teacher Preecha has paid Pol. Lt. Jaroon 1.62 million baht in a false testimony case, with 80,000 baht still outstanding. The payment is scheduled at Kanchanaburi Court on 23 Jan 2026 GMT+7.
This concerns the 30-million-baht lottery dispute between Mr. Preecha Kraikruan, known as Teacher Preecha, and Pol. Lt. Jaroon Wimoon, or Pol. Lt. Jaroon. Both parties have filed over 10 lawsuits against each other, engaging in lengthy court battles since Nov 2017, as previously reported by the media.
On 20 Jan 2026 GMT+7, at Courtroom 14 of Kanchanaburi Provincial Court, a verdict or order was scheduled in case number อ.1558/67. The case involves Pol. Lt. Jaroon Wimoon suing Mr. Preecha Kraikruan, known as Teacher Preecha, along with nine others, on charges of giving false testimony.
Mr. Arkom Kongsawat, the lawyer, revealed that originally there were 10 defendants in this case. Later, five of the ten witnesses, who are market vendors, requested to withdraw as witnesses and publicly apologized to Pol. Lt. Jaroon in front of the media outside Kanchanaburi Provincial Court on 23 Sep 2024. Pol. Lt. Jaroon felt sympathy and forgiveness, agreed to withdraw charges against those five defendants.
This left five remaining defendants: Defendant 1, Mr. Preecha Kraikruan (Teacher Preecha); Defendant 2, Ms. Rattanaporn Supathip (known as Je Ba Bin); Defendant 3, Ms. Patcharida Promta (known as Je Patch); Defendant 4, Mrs. Pananchaya Sukphool (known as Je Kiao); and Defendant 8, Mr. Thanukorn Luangmaiaem (known as Mr. Plan).
Today, Pol. Lt. Jaroon, accompanied by his wife Aunt Lawan and the lawyer, appeared as scheduled, and all five defendants were present. The defendants agreed to pay damages totaling 1.7 million baht to Pol. Lt. Jaroon. Teacher Preecha has already paid 1.62 million baht at the court, leaving 80,000 baht outstanding. He requested to pay the remaining amount on 23 Jan 2026 GMT+7. Both parties will meet again at Kanchanaburi Court at 09:00. If Teacher Preecha pays in full on that day, Pol. Lt. Jaroon is expected to drop further claims in this case.
Regarding the remaining four cases, the court has ruled on two, one case is pending judgment, and another is under investigation by the Crime Suppression Division. These four cases will continue through the legal process.
