A heavily pregnant Myanmar woman gave birth to a baby girl on a rescue vehicle. Both mother and baby are healthy and safe. Rescue workers shared the vehicle’s lucky license plate number, hoping it will bring fortune for the March 1, 2026 lottery draw.
Reporters say that on the evening of 25 Feb 2026, Ayutthaya Ruamjai Association rescue workers received a call about a Myanmar female laborer in labor at a worker camp in Village No. 4, Uthai Subdistrict, Uthai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. They quickly dispatched a rescue vehicle to pick her up and rush her to the hospital.
At the worker camp, they found Mrs. Ni Mar Win, 37, a Myanmar national, heavily pregnant and in labor pains. She was immediately taken into the rescue vehicle to be transported to the nearest hospital, Uthai Hospital. En route, the translator accompanying her suddenly shouted that the baby had been born. They promptly pulled over to provide initial emergency care.
They coordinated with medical staff and the Uthai Hospital rescue team, who came to assist with the delivery in the vehicle. The birth took about 20 minutes. It was a healthy baby girl. Both mother and child are safe and strong before being taken to Uthai Hospital for further treatment.
Mr. Thanachat Maneeruang, a rescue worker from Ayutthaya Ruamjai Association, said they received a report that a Myanmar female laborer was in labor at a construction camp. They quickly deployed the rescue van to check and assist her, aiming to transport her to the nearest hospital, Uthai Hospital.
