On 31 March 2026, Mr. Chaikorn Duangwong, known as Dada WiFi, an impersonator of Eed from the band Fly, along with Nang Raktapha Wiriya, known as Aor Muang Singh, clarified the controversy over a clip filmed at the funeral of the famous comedian Neng Mengjai at Wat Klang Khlong Si, Pathum Thani. Dada WiFi revealed that about two years ago, he performed at an event where he met Neng Mengjai. Neng told him he admired his impersonation of Eed from Fly and had even copied his act. Neng mentioned he had a pair of glasses he wanted to give Dada WiFi but hadn’t brought them along. Later, on 4 March 2026, they met again at a party where Neng greeted him and said he hadn’t forgotten about the glasses he intended to give him. However, when leaving the Bol Chuen Yim event, Neng hadn’t brought anything. Neng instructed his girlfriend Ice to buy a new pair of glasses for Dada WiFi, which Ice confirmed hearing directly from Neng. While Dada WiFi and Aor Muang Singh traveled to attend Neng’s funeral at Wat Klang Khlong Si, they intended to tap the coffin to say goodbye and tell Neng they were sending him off and that they no longer wanted the glasses to avoid any unfinished business. At that moment, Ice, Neng’s girlfriend, approached Dada WiFi. Aor Muang Singh, Dada WiFi’s personal manager, recorded the conversation where Ice apologized for not yet buying the glasses as Neng had asked.
