
Authorities have ordered the permanent closure of an abandoned pedestrian bridge on the Udon Ratthaya Expressway in Pathum Thani to stop a gang from gathering there to use drugs and film OnlyFans content. Relevant agencies have installed fences blocking access to and from the bridge, forbidding anyone from passing through.
At 09:00 on 29 Apr 2026 GMT+7, updates emerged regarding Mr. Chukiat Phochan, village headman of Village No. 4, Chiang Rak Yai Subdistrict, Sam Khok District, Pathum Thani Province. He had complained through the media about groups of young men and women covertly using the pedestrian bridge over the Udon Ratthaya Expressway as a gathering spot to use drugs and record pornographic videos for sale on private OnlyFans groups, as previously reported.
Most recently, reporters revisited the incident site. Mr. Chaiwat Panyarat, assistant village headman of Village No. 4, revealed that after the news was publicized, Ms. Bussaraphon Pankong, the Sam Khok District Chief, urgently instructed Mr. Chukiat Phochan and community leaders to increase patrols and inspections of the area starting last night.
Additionally, police officers from Sam Khok Police Station and officials from the Udon Ratthaya Expressway jointly inspected the area. They preliminarily agreed that the relevant agencies would temporarily install fences at the bridge’s access points since no local residents currently use the pedestrian bridge.
Regarding the drug problem in the community, the Village Headman of Village No. 4 is preparing proactive measures to conduct serious crackdowns and dismantle drug dens within the area. This aims to prevent youths and teenagers, both local and from outside, from secretly using drugs there again.
