Alcohol Test Results Revealed for Deputy Spokesperson of NACC Denies Fleeing, Moved Vehicle to Avoid Further Accidents

Police have disclosed the alcohol test results. The "Deputy Spokesperson of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC)". He stated after the incident that he did not flee but moved his vehicle off the overpass fearing a secondary accident; authorities plan to summon him for charges.

Regarding the case of Mr. Jarong, Director of the Investigation and Special Affairs Bureau and Deputy Spokesperson of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), who drove a pickup truck and collided with an electric motorcycle, resulting in the death of Mr. Sornarin Nakongsee, 43, a delivery rider who lost an arm. The incident occurred on the Bang Rak Noi overpass on Ratchaphruek Road (outbound) heading toward Road 345, Bang Rak Noi Subdistrict, Mueang Nonthaburi District, Nonthaburi Province, as previously reported.

Regarding updates, Police Colonel Phumisit Tangwitdecha, Superintendent of Bang Sri Muang Police Station, revealed that after receiving the investigation report, he ordered the body of the deceased to be sent for autopsy at the Institute of Forensic Science. The driver did not flee after the accident and stated that he moved the vehicle to park on the flat road below because the crash site was on an overpass, fearing a secondary accident. The driver was tested for alcohol and found to have a level of 189 mg%, exceeding the legal limit, before being released.

However, the investigator has been instructed to gather evidence, and today the driver will be summoned to acknowledge the charges. The police confirmed that they will proceed with the case and ensure fairness for both parties.
