Temporary Suspension of Swimming at Huay Mae Khamin Waterfall Announced Due to Strong Currents and Water Discoloration

"Khuean Srinagarindra National Park" announced a suspension of swimming at "Huay Mae Khamin Waterfall" temporarily after strong water currents and the water color changed to dark brown, until the water situation returns to normal.


On 1 June 2026, the Facebook pageKhuean Srinagarindra National Parkposted a message stating, "For tourists planning to visit Khuean Srinagarindra National Park on 1 June 2026 at 7:00 a.m., due to heavy rainfall last night in the area, the water level in the stream and at Huay Mae Khamin Waterfall has risen rapidly. The water currents are strong, the water color has changed to dark brown, and many air bubbles are floating on the surface.

The current water conditions are unsafe for swimming and may pose danger to tourists. For the safety of all visitors, Khuean Srinagarindra National Park hereby announces a temporary ban on swimming at all levels and areas of the waterfall until the water situation returns to normal.

However, tourists can still walk, relax, and take photos around the waterfall as usual but are strictly asked not to swim for their safety. Khuean Srinagarindra National Park apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks all visitors for their cooperation."
