
Kanchanaburi Juvenile and Family Court won the national championship for the music video "Juvenile and Family Court is the Guiding Light," receiving a trophy of honor and a cash prize.
On 11 July 2026, reporters reported that the 2026 national music video competition project for the song "Juvenile and Family Court is the Guiding Light" reflected the court’s role in protecting, rehabilitating, and creating new opportunities for children and youth through the power of music and creative media.
Meanwhile, Kanchanaburi Juvenile and Family Court produced an outstanding national-level work, winning first prize in the 2026 music video competition for the song "Juvenile and Family Court is the Guiding Light," organized by the Central Juvenile and Family Court to promote the use of music media as a tool to communicate the justice system's role for children and youth, inspiring rehabilitation and restoration to help them become important contributors to society.
At the award announcement and ceremony, Taweesak Janweerasa-then, Chief Judge of the Central Juvenile and Family Court, presided over the presentation of the trophy and cash prize to Kanchanaburi Juvenile and Family Court as the first-place winner. Ms. Benjaporn Rungsappaiboon, Chief Judge of Kanchanaburi Juvenile and Family Court, along with judges, judicial officers, associate judges, and mediators of the court proudly received the award.
The competition was held under the concept "Juvenile and Family Court is the Guiding Light" to produce quality songs and music videos as media for rehabilitation and restoration of children and youth. It aimed to encourage juvenile and family courts nationwide to have creative media that can be used in rehabilitation activities through music therapy, building self-esteem, sparking inspiration for new beginnings, and increasing understanding of the court's role as an institution that protects, assists, and supports children, youth, and families.
Additionally, the project aimed to provide children and youth with a creative outlet, promote productive use of free time, develop potential, and engage them in producing positive media that is easily accessible to the public through songs and music videos. These works can serve as models for activities conducted by juvenile and family courts throughout the country.
As for the competition results, first place went to Kanchanaburi Juvenile and Family Court; second place to Phetchaburi Juvenile and Family Court; third place to Samut Prakan Juvenile and Family Court. The Popular Vote award was won by Surat Thani Juvenile and Family Court, while honorable mentions went to Nakhon Ratchasima and Nan Juvenile and Family Courts.
This achievement is a source of pride for Kanchanaburi Province, demonstrating its ability to express the mission and ideals of the Juvenile and Family Court through outstanding creative work recognized at the national level, reflecting the cooperation of all sectors in effectively advancing child and youth protection and rehabilitation.
