Rescue Team Breaks Into Room to Help Woman After Relative Reports Collapse Turns Out She Was Just Passed Out Drunk

Rescue workers hurriedly broke into a room to help a woman after her relative reported she had collapsed and was unconscious inside a condominium in Bang Sao Thong, Samut Prakan. In the end, she was found passed out drunk and was startled awake to find the rescuers filling the room.

Photos show the rescue team rushing to pry open the door after a relative reported a patient had slipped and fallen inside the room and had been unreachable for over half an hour. Upon opening the door, they found a mute woman sleeping on a mat with a plate of food and a beer bottle beside her. When she woke and saw the rescuers, she was shocked and gestured that she had been sleeping comfortably.

At 11:30 p.m. on 15 July 2026, the Samut Prakan Provincial Emergency Command Center received a report from a relative requesting help to check on a person who had slipped and fallen inside a condominium room and had been unreachable for over 30 minutes. The incident occurred in a condominium located in Bang Sao Thong Subdistrict, Bang Sao Thong District, Samut Prakan. Upon receiving the report, volunteers from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation were dispatched to investigate and provide assistance.

At the scene, the door was locked from the inside. The rescue team knocked and called out to the occupant but received no response. After obtaining permission from the building manager, they worked together to pry open the door, which took about 30 minutes. Inside, they found a woman appearing to be asleep on a mat. They shouted to wake her, and upon seeing the rescuers, she was startled by the large number of people at her door.

Upon inquiry, Mrs. Natchayakorn, 46, the building manager, said the woman inside the room was Ms. Suay (pseudonym), 30, who is mute and deaf. She has a foreign husband and rented this room to live alone. In the evening, she bought three bottles of beer and fell asleep. When her husband called, she did not answer, leading to a misunderstanding that she had an accident. Based on the room's condition, it seemed she might have actually slipped but was unharmed. She did not know further details.

Mr. Niyom Boonwiset, a rescuer, said they received a report to assist a patient who had slipped and fallen inside a room and had been unreachable for over 30 minutes. Upon arrival, they knocked and called but got no response. After getting permission from the building manager, they pried open the door. Inside, they found the occupant sleeping normally and safely, which relieved the rescue team before they dispersed.

Ms. Suay, after waking, immediately video called her husband and gestured that she had been sleeping comfortably but was very startled to see the rescue team gathered in front of her door.
