
The Chai Nat Provincial Education Office organized the "Khao Khayai Forest" learning activity, bringing together over 600 participants to nurture trees, listen to educational lectures, and cultivate a love for their hometown.
At 06:00 on 17 Aug 2026 GMT+7, at Khao Khayai, Mueang Chai Nat District, Chai Nat Province, the Provincial Education Office held the event "Continuing the Royal Intention, Community Learning, Cultivating Love for Chai Nat Hometown" by integrating learning using the Khao Khayai learning site as a base.
Dr. Pichet Wanthong, Inspector General of the Ministry of Education, presided over the opening ceremony, with Mr. Sutthipong Julcharoen, former Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior and advisor to the Rak Khao Khayai Chai Nat Foundation, delivering a special lecture titled "Telling the Legend of Khao Khayai, the Desert Mountain to Heaven Mountain."
Dr. Phatthanaporn Thaipiboon, Chai Nat Provincial Education Officer, reported the event's objectives and led activities promoting love for the forest, community, and hometown, as well as environmental conservation. Participants cared for trees by fertilizing and tilling soil at Sing Dam Garden. The event included Chai Nat Governor Phumwat Udomsap, department heads, education administrators from all agencies, students, and learners from the Chai Nat Learning Promotion Office.
Additionally, there were learning stations including the Khao Khayai Forest learning activity, continuing the conservation of plant genetic resources inspired by the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (APST) led by teacher leaders from Chai Nat Pittayakom School and Wat Singh School. This event brought together more than 650 participants, including department heads, education administrators from all agencies within Chai Nat Province, school administrators, teachers, education personnel from all Ministry of Education agencies in the province, staff from the Chai Nat Provincial Education Office, members of the Rak Khao Khayai Chai Nat Foundation, and distinguished guests.
