33-Year-Old Woman Missing for 5 Days After Being Picked Up by On-Off Boyfriend, Contact Lost

Relatives of a 33-year-old woman are appealing for help to find her after she went missing from home for five days. CCTV footage shows her on-again, off-again boyfriend picking her up before she lost contact. When asked, he firmly denied seeing her, claiming they had not met for months.

On 3 Sep 2026, reporters learned that Mrs. Chantra Muangkao, 50, sought help from the media after her daughter, Miss Wichuda Chansungnoen, also known as Lookpla, 33, disappeared since the evening of 28 Aug 2026. It has been over five days without contact or knowledge of her whereabouts.

Mrs. Chantra said that on the evening of 28 Aug 2026, her daughter drove out saying she had some errands to run, then lost contact. She tried calling but couldn’t reach her. On the morning of 31 Aug, she visited Miss Kai, a cousin of Lookpla, who revealed that around 10 p.m. on 28 Aug, Lookpla had parked her car at Kai's house saying she had errands. Then, Nat, Lookpla’s boyfriend, arrived in a white pickup truck and they left together without saying where or for how long.

After Mrs. Chantra got this information from Miss Kai, she tried to contact Nat, but he denied seeing Lookpla for months, contradicting CCTV footage clearly showing him picking her up. When Mrs. Chantra confronted him with the video, Nat immediately blocked her.

Lookpla’s 10-year-old son told reporters he last contacted his mother on the evening of 28 Aug, when she said she was going out of town. After that, she could not be reached. He tried messaging Nat to ask where his mother was, but Nat denied being with her, saying he had traveled abroad for work and then refused to answer calls or messages.

Mrs. Chantra added that normally, Lookpla loves her son very much and would never leave him for so long. Recently, Lookpla had been taking care of her mother and son regularly. She does not believe Lookpla would willingly leave them for five days. She fears Lookpla might have been lured into harm since the couple had a history of frequent fights and physical abuse, breaking up and reconciling multiple times. Mrs. Chantra had urged her daughter to end the relationship, but Lookpla was soft-hearted and kept returning. Now, she fears for her daughter's safety but hopes if she is safe, she will return to her mother and son, as they all worry and love her dearly.

Meanwhile, reporters visited Lat Ya Police Station for case updates. Police confirmed that Lookpla’s mother filed a report. Authorities have tracked the pickup truck and found its last sighting was in Chiang Mai province, but neither Nat nor Lookpla has been located yet.
