Neighbors reported that the mother of "Si Ka Ae" boasted about her daughter owning two houses, which were paid off in about three years, and buying a brand-new Toyota Fortuner with cash. They also said she once had a family but separated after being deceived and losing 30 million baht.
In the case where Crime Suppression Division police searched the home of Ms. Punyavee Rungreung, known as “Si Ka Ae,” 47, who is wanted under an arrest warrant No. 30/2569 (dated 8 Sep 2026) issued by the Central Criminal Court for Corruption and Misconduct in Office, at a village in Khlong Si Subdistrict, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province. After the search, numerous assets were found, including gold amulets, gold bars, and jewelry totaling 90 baht of gold valued at 6,037,470 baht, cash amounting to 3,592,300 baht, land deeds, and Government Savings Bank lottery tickets, as previously reported.
On 11 September, a reporter was told by Mr. Thanawat, a neighbor of Si Ka Ae, that he had seen her before but she rarely returned home, about once every three months on average. He observed that she previously drove an older car but recently switched to a black Toyota Fortuner with red license plates. He had no direct conversations with her since he mostly saw her mother living at the house with one granddaughter. Si Ka Ae purchased the first house before he moved in during 2019 and later bought a second house, totaling two properties. However, she seldom stayed there, likely only visiting her mother when she came back. Her behavior appeared normal with no unusual signs.
Another neighbor, Ms. Napaporn, said she saw police searching the house at the time but did not initially know what had happened. Later, she learned details from news shared on social media. Normally, she only saw the woman’s mother, who once ran a beauty salon. Si Ka Ae worked in online sales and was rarely seen or spoken to. She also learned that Si Ka Ae recently bought an additional house about a year ago.
A source who regularly spoke with Si Ka Ae's mother shared that she had said Si Ka Ae was deceived by her ex-husband, losing 30 million baht and becoming financially ruined. The ex-husband then used the money to live with his new wife. They had three children together: two daughters and one son. The son is under the father's care and was once ordained at Phutthaisawan Temple, while the two daughters live with Si Ka Ae's mother.
Additionally, Si Ka Ae's mother said her daughter spent about 1.4 million baht in cash to buy a new Toyota Fortuner, replacing her old pickup truck. The purchase was made in cash because Si Ka Ae had legal issues and was blacklisted, making her ineligible for a loan. Regarding the houses, the first house could not be purchased under Si Ka Ae’s name, so the temple's layman representative signed the contract instead. Initially, the payments were made in installments ranging from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of baht, enabling her to pay off the house within about 3-4 years, which is faster than usual. The second house was bought less than a year ago and fully paid off, but it is unclear if it was a cash purchase.
Furthermore, Si Ka Ae’s mother said she had bought a condominium for her son, who lives with his father. She also mentioned that Si Ka Ae has a business partnership in a gold shop, and the house contains nearly 100 baht worth of gold. The mother often changes her gold necklaces and bracelets to show off to others.
Reporters noted that the atmosphere around both houses owned by Si Ka Ae was quiet, with no one inside. Only two motorcycles were parked outside, and several pairs of shoes were placed at the front of the houses.
