On 21 Sep 2026 CE, a popular page, “STRONG Club Against Corruption Thailand,” demanded an investigation into a health center director in Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani, alleging negligence of duties.The director allegedly invited subordinates to play cards in the OPD room every evening; the staff could not tolerate it, unwilling to play because they kept losing.
Subsequently, reporters went to verify the story at the health center in Khlong Luang, Pathum Thani, and sought an interview with the director. Staff said the director was not present but personally viewed the controversy as stemming from internal conflict, noting a previous staff member resigned due to dissatisfaction with the director’s order for all staff to alternate duty shifts.
Regarding the 'phantom shift' issue, staff confirmed it was untrue, affirming the director is a good person and manages well. Further details must await the director’s own explanation.
Police Lieutenant General Kamronwit Thupkrajang, President of the Pathum Thani Provincial Administrative Organization, stated that after learning of the social media reports, he immediately ordered a fact-finding investigation.
Preliminary investigation and testimonies from subordinates aligned with the published claims, leading to an order transferring the Khlong Nueng Health Center director to assist at the Pathum Thani Provincial Administrative Organization from 21 Sep 2026 CE. A fact-finding committee was appointed with a seven-day deadline to complete its work.
The Pathum Thani Provincial Administrative Organization president emphasized that this action was not intended to harass or bully the official but to fulfill duties upon receiving allegations that require investigation. He assured fairness to all parties and stated that if wrongdoing is confirmed, legal, regulatory, and disciplinary measures will be taken.
Reporters noted that, as of now, the director has not been located for comment.
