The flooding situation in Kanchanaburi shows rising water levels in Tha Maka, prompting urgent evacuation of vulnerable groups. Meanwhile, early this morning, flash floods inundated the area around Thong Phaphum roundabout.
On 28 Sep 2026, a reporter noted that since 02:59, floodwaters began entering Stable Village in Tha Ruea Municipality, Tha Maka District, Kanchanaburi Province, with levels steadily rising. Local leaders coordinated with the Khun Rattanawut Foundation volunteers to assist immediately, successfully relocating vulnerable individuals (patients, elderly, disabled, children) to the temporary shelter at Sala 60 Phansa, Tha Ruea.
Meanwhile, the province issued warnings of heavy rainfall causing flash floods around Thong Phaphum roundabout, flooding homes and the gate of Thong Phaphum Subdistrict Municipality due to insufficient water drainage.
Regarding flooding in Sai Yok District at Wang Pho Municipality, water levels near Wang Pho Bridge are approaching the bridge deck, about 1–2 meters from the road surface at the bridge neck on the Sai Yok Elephant Camp side in Kanchanaburi Province.
