At the same time, water has overflowed the flood barriers at the Pathum Thani border along the Lower Khok Wa Canal, impacting Sai Mai, Khlong Sam Wa, and Nong Chok districts.
At approximately 17:35, the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) sent a Cell Broadcast alert warning that the Chao Phraya River levels in Nonthaburi Province are continuously rising, affecting only areas outside the flood barriers in Pak Kret, Mueang Nonthaburi, and Bang Kruai districts. Residents living along the riverbanks or in low-lying areas outside the flood barriers are advised to elevate their belongings, move vehicles, and care for vulnerable groups. Meanwhile, at 17:10, the DDPM sent a Cell Broadcast alert for the area at the Pathum Thani border along the Lower Khok Wa Canal, covering Sai Mai, Khlong Sam Wa, and Nong Chok districts, due to water overflowing the flood barriers. Bangkok authorities are urgently reinforcing temporary flood barriers and advise residents to elevate belongings and avoid flood-prone or canal-adjacent areas.
