On 3 Oct 2026 GMT+7, reporters were informed that the Khao Chakan district administration in Sa Kaeo province, together with the village headman of Village No. 6 in Khao Chakan subdistrict, assistant village headmen, and related personnel, conducted a search for four crocodiles that escaped from a local farm. Previously, officials had already captured three crocodiles, with one still missing.
Since early this morning, officials have continuously intensified their search in areas where the last crocodile was likely hiding. They thoroughly inspected surrounding areas to prevent the crocodile from approaching communities and causing trouble for residents.
At 2:00 PM, officials successfully located and captured the last crocodile, completing the capture of all four escaped crocodiles. Afterward, they rechecked the area to confirm safety before officially ending the operation and closing the situation, thus assuring the local people.
Currently, all four escaped crocodiles have been controlled, and the situation has returned to normal.
