The Burapha Task Force, together with military engineers, is rapidly installing container units in the Ban Nong Jan area to reinforce border security. They are also dismantling structures linked to the 'Kamnan Lee' network, preparing to restore safe land for Thai people in the future.
On 30 December 2025 GMT+7, reporters reported that the Burapha Task Force, alongside military engineering units, is accelerating the installation of container units in Ban Nong Jan, Khok Sung District, Sa Kaeo Province. This effort aims to strengthen security along the border and serve as support points for safety missions and personnel operations in the area.
This operation aims to enhance the effectiveness of area control, situation monitoring, and timely emergency response amid ongoing border tensions. The container units will function as permanent posts, rest areas, and command centers for officials' various missions.
The Burapha Task Force confirmed that all operations are conducted to protect national sovereignty, ensure the safety of life and property of citizens, and build confidence among border residents. They emphasized their readiness in personnel and equipment to handle all situations at full strength.
Additionally, reporters noted that earlier that afternoon, the Burapha Task Force dismantled structures at 'Kamnan Lee's House,' the residence of a former Cambodian influential figure and ex-husband of Je Rat. Previously, he was known for encroaching on Thai sovereignty by constructing buildings on farmland in Ban Nong Jan.
Previously, the Burapha Task Force had dismantled some structures linked to Kamnan Lee's network. However, this latest operation directly demolished Kamnan Lee's house along with all remaining affiliated houses, using backhoe excavators to reduce them to rubble.
Meanwhile, following recent clashes, the Burapha Task Force successfully secured the Ban Nong Jan area, safeguarding sovereignty. They are destroying structures on Thai soil to prepare to return farmland to local residents in the future, presenting this as a New Year's gift to Thai citizens, especially the people of Ban Nong Jan.
