Chachoengsao Juvenile and Family Court Launches Mobile Legal Education Project for Youth

The Juvenile and Family Court of Chachoengsao Province organized the 2026 Mobile Legal Education Project for Youth to spread knowledge about the judiciary's duties and basic legal knowledge to children, youth, and the public.

On 26 Feb 2026 GMT+7, a reporter reported that recently, the Juvenile and Family Court of Chachoengsao, led by Mrs. Kongkanok Kosanlaku Sukpanthaworn, Chief Judge of the Juvenile and Family Court of Chachoengsao, along with judges, associate judges, conciliators, the director, and court personnel, organized the 2026 Mobile Legal Education Project for Youth. The event aimed to disseminate knowledge about the judiciary's mission and basic legal principles to children, youth, and the general public, enabling them to apply this knowledge in daily life and strengthen protective measures for children and youth. Participants included 11 students from Chachoengsao Vocational College, 7 students from Chachoengsao Technical College, and 128 members of the public, held at the riverside plaza opposite Phutthasothon Hospital, Na Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chachoengsao.

The project featured booths providing information from the Chachoengsao Juvenile Observation and Protection Center, Chachoengsao Transport Office, Chachoengsao Justice Office, Chachoengsao Social Development and Human Security Office, the Sufficiency Economy Institute at Rajabhat Rajanagarindra University (Bang Khla Campus), the Psychiatry and Substance Abuse Department of Phutthasothon Hospital, the Public Service Unit, and the Mediation Unit of the Juvenile and Family Court of Chachoengsao. Additionally, a legal seminar on child and youth law was held, featuring Senior Judge Kachenchai Chaisit as the speaker and Mrs. Natnaree Sairoj, a senior judicial officer, as the moderator. Activities included booths for stone painting, shoe painting, making inhalers, crafting bags from leaves, live music, and photo sessions with snacks and drinks.

The event was honored by the presence of Ms. Chatpraorn Niyom, Governor of Chachoengsao Province, along with heads of various provincial departments, who attended the opening ceremony and activities. This aligned with the Supreme Court President's policy emphasizing moral guidance in official duties and personal conduct, specifically point 4, which promotes public understanding through outreach and public activities at all levels—including children, youth, and all social sectors—to foster knowledge and comprehension of the law, court processes, justice under the rule of law, and to instill ethics and morality to reduce social disputes.
