A rider opened up, saying he felt embarrassed on behalf of the situation after a customer couple displayed intimate behavior in his car, disregarding his warnings and even telling him to look away. He said he plans to make stickers to prohibit such activities inside the vehicle.
In a case involving a Facebook user who works as a rider for a ride-hailing app, he posted a clip while driving to pick up customers—a foreign man and a Thai woman—going to their destination. The couple passionately expressed their affection without concern for the driver's view. The caption read, “Every day I have to deal with this. I warn nicely but they don’t listen and do as they please.” The clip went viral, drawing many comments.
In the latest update on 30 April 2026, a reporter had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Bew (pseudonym), 28, the rider who owns the clip. He recounted that the incident happened between 07:00 and 08:00 on 29 April. The customers summoned him to pick them up in South Pattaya and take them to a hotel about 2 km away. Upon arrival, he found the customers were a foreign man and a Thai woman.
Once they got into the car, he drove as usual. After just 2-3 minutes, the couple started moving closer together and began kissing passionately. He tried to stop them, but they ignored him and told him to turn away and not look. He admitted feeling very uncomfortable and ended up embarrassed on their behalf, not daring to look in the rearview mirror.Eventually, he decided to take out his phone to record a video. During filming, the foreign man glanced at him but continued kissing the woman. When they arrived at the hotel, both customers got out and held hands as they entered the hotel.
He posted the clip on social media simply to share the driver's perspective, who encounters strange situations daily. He does not want couples to display such love scenes in the car without consideration for the driver. He views this behavior as inappropriate and disrespectful to the setting. He added that he will make stickers to prohibit such conduct in his car in the future.
