The atmosphere on the first day of Pattaya City Council member registration saw only one candidate in District 1, while the other three districts experienced a large number of applicants.
On 28 May 2026 GMT+7, reporters observed that during the morning registration period for Pattaya City Council members, candidates arrived before 08:30. These included the independent team and the Pattaya 2030 team, which submitted candidates for all four districts, though none met the full six candidates per district. Since the two teams could not agree on candidate numbers, they resorted to drawing lots to assign official candidate numbers.
Meanwhile, the People's Party and We Love Pattaya teams waived their rights to register in the morning, choosing instead to submit their applications in the afternoon of the same day. This required a new timestamp for submission, with candidate numbers assigned according to the order of registration.
For Pattaya City Council candidates in District 2, numbers 1 to 3 belong to the Pattaya 2030 team; number 4 is independent candidate Ms. Natthaphatsara Methinikitkiri; number 5 is independent Mr. Kittisak Orprateep; number 6 is independent Ms. Thanatcha Atjamnian. Numbers 7 to 12 are candidates from the People's Party, and numbers 13 to 18 are from the We Love Pattaya team.
In District 3, numbers 1 to 3 are from the Pattaya 2030 team; number 4 is independent candidate Mr. Wuttisak Chatthongkham; number 5 is independent Mr. Phusit Chatthongkham; number 6 is independent Mr. Kritayakorn Mien. Numbers 7 to 12 represent the People's Party, and numbers 13 to 18 belong to the We Love Pattaya team.
For District 4, numbers 1 to 6 are candidates from the Pattaya 2030 team; numbers 7 to 12 are from the People's Party; and numbers 13 to 18 represent the We Love Pattaya team.
District 1 has only one candidate registering for the Pattaya City Council; the Pattaya 2030 team did not field any candidates there. The People's Party and We Love Pattaya teams are expected to submit their applications tomorrow, reportedly aiming to secure the same candidate numbers across all four districts.
