On 29 May 2026 GMT+7, a reporter received a post from a Facebook user showing a fight between a group of foreigners and Thai women. The men chased and tried to punch, while the women pulled each other's hair. Unexpectedly, a sedan reversed and ran over a woman, trapping her body under the car. Locals witnessing the incident tried to help pull her out from beneath the vehicle. Afterwards, the sedan driver lifted the woman into the car and immediately drove away. The incident occurred at Laem Bali Hai Pier, South Pattaya, Moo 10, Nong Prue Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi.
At 08:30 GMT+7, the reporter spoke with the video owner, identified as Warayut, or Fluke, 23 years old. He said the incident happened around 5 a.m. while he was returning home from squid fishing. He saw a group fighting where a foreigner lifted a stone to throw but it was unclear at whom. A smaller man, identified as Thai, intervened. Warayut tried to assist the Thai man. People scattered running around until he saw a black sedan reverse and hit a woman, trapping her under the vehicle. He did not know if she was Thai or foreign but knew she was the girlfriend of the foreign driver.
Warayut and his friend tried to lift the car but could not. Then others nearby came to help, they lifted the vehicle and pulled the woman out from under the car.
Reports later identified the woman run over as Pimphimon, 20 years old. The sedan driver or perpetrator took her to Bangkok Pattaya Hospital. She initially suffered a broken hip. After the incident, Pattaya City Police arrived to investigate and filed a report as evidence. No party has yet filed a formal complaint or legal action.

The sedan then made a U-turn and stopped mid-street for nearly a minute before parking behind the black SUV on the roadside. At 04:59 GMT+7, occupants of the sedan opened the door and began fighting. The foreign man ran in to punch, while three to four women also fought. Eventually, the sedan shifted into gear and reversed, running over a Thai woman and trapping her under the vehicle.
