On 24 Aug 2026 GMT+7, Pol. Col. Komsan Kamtunkaew, Chief of Sattahip Police Station, ordered Pol. Lt. Col. Phatthanan Somnuan, Traffic Inspector of Sattahip Police Station, along with traffic officers, to track down the individuals involved for legal proceedings.
Authorities subsequently located five women, all employees of karaoke establishments in the area, and brought them in for legal processing. They were warned not to repeat such conduct. They were charged with unjustified pedestrian obstruction of traffic and fined according to the law.
When questioned, the five women admitted they filmed the video solely to create content. They said it was late at night with minimal traffic, so they believed it would not cause problems. They did not expect the clip to become controversial or lead to legal action. They apologized to society for the incident and promised not to repeat such behavior.
The Sattahip traffic unit reminded the public that dancing or using road space for entertainment without valid reasons not only violates the law but also risks accidents, endangering both those involved and other road users.
