The Department of Business Development has brought together more than 40 quality franchise brands to launch the first Franchise Career Creation Roadshow 2025 at Central Si Racha, Chonburi Province.
On 20 Dec 2025, Mr. Poonpong Nainapakorn, Director-General of the Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce, announced that he assigned Mr. Sathaporn Ruamnaphaya, Deputy Director-General of the Department, to preside over the opening of the first Franchise Career Creation Roadshow 2025 at Central Si Racha, Chonburi.
The department places great importance on supporting franchises to meet standards, be easily accessible, and expand into regions with potential. Si Racha District, Chonburi Province, is considered a prime location due to ongoing economic growth from industry, tourism, and housing developments. Its diverse population demands a variety of goods and services, presenting opportunities for Thai franchise entrepreneurs to access new markets. The department organized the first Franchise Career Creation Roadshow 2025 from 19-22 Dec 2025 at the A-B Promotion Area, Central Si Racha, showcasing over 40 leading franchises in food, beverages, services, and retail—carefully selected for quality and market demand.
The event aims to provide the public and aspiring entrepreneurs with access to investment opportunities and consultations with franchise owners. It also facilitates business matching, enabling meetings with operators from various sectors to expand businesses and explore new opportunities. A key highlight is the exhibition and sale of franchise products and attractive franchise packages.
Additionally, financial institutions participate with booths offering advice and funding support, including special conditions for interested parties. Visitors can also enter to win exclusive franchise discount promotions valued up to 10,000 baht.
The department believes this event is more than just a franchise exhibition; it is an opportunity for people in Chonburi and nearby provinces to access information before investing and to sample products firsthand. Currently, there are 1,253 franchises developed through the Department of Business Development, including 556 food businesses (44%), 200 service businesses (16%), 177 retail businesses (14%), 165 beverage businesses (13%), 85 beauty and spa businesses (7%), and 70 education businesses (6%).
