Nakhon Sawan Launches One District, One Creative Space to Boost Community Economy

Nakhon Sawan has launched the "One District, One Creative Space" initiative to promote creative tourism, convey culture reflecting local identity, and generate income for community members.

At 10:00 a.m. on 17 Jan 2026 at Phiang Dee Market, Wat Nong Pho, Nong Pho Subdistrict, Takli District, Nakhon Sawan Province, Mr. Sewat Petnui, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Sawan, presided over the opening of the project to promote creative and cultural tourism called "One District, One Creative Space." Ms. Nuchrinphat Theeraboonya, Nakhon Sawan Provincial Culture Officer, along with the Takli District Chief, Takli Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Takli District Cultural Council, artists, educational institutions, government agencies, private sector, community leaders, artist networks, and cultural product entrepreneurs participated in the project.

Today's activities for the project promoting creative and cultural tourism, "One District, One Creative Space," included cultural arts performances, demonstrations, and sales of community cultural products.

The Nakhon Sawan Provincial Culture Office, in collaboration with the Moral Community of Wat Nong Pho, Nong Pho Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Takli District Cultural Council, and Takli District, organized the "One District, One Creative Space" project to promote creative and cultural tourism.

The project aims to open local creative spaces as learning centers to transmit cultural knowledge, serve as a platform showcasing works reflecting community identity, foster participation from partner networks, instill pride in cultural heritage among children, youth, and citizens, and promote creative tourism to stimulate the economy and generate income for local residents.
