
The Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce, is advancing efforts to boost the grassroots local economy by setting a milestone in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, preparing to host the 4th Franchise Career Roadshow from 3-6 April.
On 1 April, reporters learned that the Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce, confirmed plans to hold the Franchise Career Roadshow from 3-6 April 2026 at the promotional area on the 1st floor of Central Shopping Center, Hat Yai, Songkhla. The event aims to connect business networks from the central region to the provinces and support Thai franchise entrepreneurs in expanding their businesses into local markets. More than 40 leading franchise brands from food, beverage, service, and beauty sectors will participate, offering opportunities for interested individuals, investors, small entrepreneurs, and the general public to select franchises that match their interests and capacities. Attendees can directly negotiate business deals with franchise owners (Business Matching) and benefit from franchise package promotions and discounts. This initiative seeks to make franchise investments more accessible to the unemployed and those wishing to own a business, thereby stimulating the grassroots economy and strengthening the regional economic system.
Additionally, the event will offer investment and franchise business management consultations from leading financial institutions participating with booths to provide advice and financial support, along with special privileges for attendees includingpromotionsand exclusive franchise discounts available only during the event. Interested parties are invited to join the 4th Franchise Career Roadshow from 3-6 April atthe promotional areaon the 1st floor of Central Shopping Center Hat Yai, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., free of charge.
Currently, there are a total of 4,149 franchise brands, including 686 Thai franchises andfranchise businessesdeveloped by the Department of Business Development, totaling 571 brands.
