On 20 Apr 2024 GMT+7, reporters reported that J Concept Co., Ltd., the operator of the Korean fried chicken brand GUGU Chicken in Thailand, announced its 6th anniversary of business success in the country. The company revealed plans for a full-scale franchise expansion targeting total revenue of 500 million baht in 2026 alongside opening 10 new branches nationwide. This follows proven success from 35 branches directly managed by the company. They emphasize the use of AI technology and ERP logistics systems to systematically manage the supply chain—from stock planning and delivery to quality control—to enhance operational efficiency and support long-term business growth.
GUGU Chicken first opened its branch in Thailand in 2020 and has since steadily grown in the Korean fried chicken market with its distinctive original flavor. The brand stands out by carefully selecting main ingredients and seasonings imported directly from Korea to maintain the authentic Original Korean Taste, combined with internationally standardized management systems. In 2026, it is stepping into full franchise expansion, launching its first franchise branch in the Songprapha area of Bangkok.
