
Pathum Thani has opened the cultural market "Joyful Community Way: Taste the Best, Experience the Charm of Pathum Thani Culture" aiming to stimulate the grassroots economy and continue local identity from 9 to 17 May 2026 at Wat Bot Luang Pu Thian.

The "Cultural Market" under the project to develop and upgrade tourism potential in Pathum Thani at Wat Bot (Luang Pu Thian), Ban Klang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Pathum Thani, named "Joyful Community Way: Taste the Best, Experience the Charm of Pathum Thani Culture". Pathum Thani province opened a cultural space to creatively invite visitors to the "Cultural Market," to experience quality local products and community ways near Bangkok, with Mrs. Latsama Tharikes, Pathum Thani Culture Officer, reporting, alongside government officials and many community members attending.
Pathum Thani, through its Provincial Culture Office, is driving cultural capital towards creative tourism via the community lifestyle harvesting activity, the "Cultural Market" under the project to develop and upgrade tourism potential at Wat Bot Luang Pu Thian, Mueang District, Pathum Thani.
Mr. Aekwit Meepian, Governor of Pathum Thani, said the province has outstanding potential in historical and cultural tourism, and the use of "cultural capital" to develop "quality products and services" not only helps stimulate the grassroots economy but also preserves and passes on the community’s identity sustainably. He praised the cooperation of all sectors driving this activity to open a space for tourists to experience unique and charming cultural experiences.
Mrs. Latsama Tharikes, Pathum Thani Culture Officer, stated that Pathum Thani has a long history with valuable religious sites and cultural wisdom. The Provincial Culture Office organized this event to leverage cultural capital into creative activities that generate income and strengthen communities long-term.

The "Cultural Market" features diverse cultural activities and community ways, including over 20 booths selling cultural products and local foods, folk cultural performances, local wisdom demonstrations, and a Walk Rally activity. The "Stamp of Memories" activity allows residents and tourists to have fun and learn about community stories through creative activities.
Additionally, the event includes the "Banana Leaf Market Year 2" showcasing the best local products and foods from Pathum Thani entrepreneurs, with free workshops, cultural performances, and worship ceremonies. The "Luang Pho Sompratana (Phra Maha Chakrapat) 400 Years" ceremony for auspicious blessings.
