The OTOP TO THE TOWN event is a key activity under the Community Development Department's grassroots economic promotion policy. It aims to expand market channels for OTOP producers and entrepreneurs, bringing quality community products to urban consumers. The event creates trade opportunities, broadens customer bases, and enhances the management and marketing capabilities of entrepreneurs to remain competitive in today’s economy. The 4th event at the Government Complex is held from 8 to 12 June 2026.

The event features exhibitions and sales of 4- to 5-star OTOP products from across the country, with 350 booths showcasing food and beverages, textiles and apparel, household items, decorative products, and herbal products.

Additionally, the event offers workshops to create career opportunities, allowing visitors to learn and try making OTOP products themselves, lucky draw activities, and mini-concerts by famous artists such as Phoolim, Kob Songsit, Pe Mind Band, Pun Paiboonkiat, and Charas Fuangarom throughout the event period.

Mr. Pholphe Suwanchavee said the Ministry of the Interior places great importance on promoting the grassroots economy and generating income for the people. He praised the Community Development Department for effectively driving the OTOP TO THE TOWN project. The previous three events held at Central Plaza Rama 9, Central Salaya, and Future Park Rangsit have generated cumulative sales exceeding 18.39 million baht.

He added that the Ministry of the Interior and the Community Development Department will continue to promote and enhance the capabilities of OTOP entrepreneurs to elevate Thai community products to gain recognition domestically and internationally, thereby strengthening and sustainably growing the grassroots economy.
