Experience the charm of life in the Western Forest Region at the "Khlong Lan Fruit, Food, and Local Products Festival" 2026, held from 7-12 July 2026 at Khlong Nam Lai.
At 9:30 a.m. on 29 June 2026, at the PTT gas station press area in Khlong Nam Lai Subdistrict, Khlong Lan District, Kamphaeng Phet Province, Mr. Sarawut Thangdin, District Chief of Khlong Lan, together with Mr. Boonchuan Tangpanya, Chief Executive of Khlong Nam Lai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, and Mr. Anan Suthikam, Chairman of the Khlong Nam Lai Tourism Steering Committee, held a press conference to announce the event. They announced the inaugural "Khlong Lan Fruit, Food, and Local Products Festival" for 2026. The press conference was attended by media representatives and related agencies.
Around the area, stalls displayed fruits from local orchard farmers, including rambutan, longan, durian, bamboo handcrafts, and other notable products from Khlong Lan District.
Mr. Sarawut Thangdin said the event aims to promote the Khlong Lan Fruit, Food, and Local Products Festival, scheduled from 7-12 July 2026 at the Khlong Nam Lai Intersection, Khlong Nam Lai Subdistrict, Khlong Lan District, Kamphaeng Phet Province.
The festival will promote tourism attractions such as Khlong Lan Waterfall, Khlong Nam Lai Waterfall, and various sandbar rapids. It aims to stimulate Khlong Lan's economy by supporting farmers, entrepreneurs, and locals to showcase and sell their produce, fruits, food, and community products, while raising awareness of Khlong Lan’s potential as a significant fruit production and tourist area in Kamphaeng Phet Province.
This is a great opportunity for all sectors to jointly promote the event and invite tourists and people nationwide to experience the charm of Khlong Lan during the six-day festival, which includes contests, music festivals, boxing, and more.
Mr. Boonchuan Tangpanya, Chief Executive of Khlong Nam Lai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, said that during this fruit season in Kamphaeng Phet Province, many people think of Khlong Lan District when it comes to fruits like durian, mangosteen, and rambutan. It is a land rich in nature, traditions, culture, and uniquely delicious fruits. The first thing people mention each year is the Khlong Lan Fruit, Food, and Local Products Festival, held regularly.
Last year, the festival received strong interest from tourists and residents of Kamphaeng Phet Province, generating more than one million baht in income, boosting the local economy. This year’s event will reflect the charm and identity of Khlong Lan’s food, fruits, and local products.
Mr. Anan Suthikam added that the festival will feature fresh fruit sales from local orchards and farmers, traditional and renowned foods, community products, and the best of Khlong Lan. There will be cultural performances and nightly stage shows, fruit eating and peeling contests, and many other activities. He invited all tourists and the public to come, enjoy, shop, and support local farmers and entrepreneurs while experiencing the charm of Khlong Lan’s fruits, foods, and local products during the event dates.
