Pathum Thani Prepares Major Caravan Bike Rally to Promote Community Tourism “Caravan Bike Rally Pathum Thani 2069”

Pathum Thani is preparing a major event, the Caravan Bike Rally Pathum Thani 2069, to promote community tourism and support the grassroots economy, generating income for entrepreneurs and local communities.


On 20 August 2026 at Novotel Bangkok Future Park Rangsit Hotel in Thanyaburi District, Pathum Thani Province, the Provincial Office of Tourism and Sports officially launched the project. “Caravan Bike Rally Pathum Thani 2069” This initiative promotes tourism in Pathum Thani under the concept “PATHUM RALLY 7: 7 Routes Connecting Communities” aimed at elevating sport tourism alongside community-based tourism, creating a new travel experience linking key attractions across all seven districts of Pathum Thani Province.

At the press conference, Ekawit Meepian, Governor of Pathum Thani, presided over the event, joined by Sasirin Disawanont, Provincial Tourism and Sports Officer; Sakorn Amphin, President of Pathum Thani Sports Association; Sanphet Haritkul, Chairman of Pathum Thani Bicycle Tourism Club; and Norathep Nontharat, sports artist. They announced the project's readiness and invited citizens and cyclists nationwide to experience this new journey combining exercise, learning, and tourism.

Governor Ekawit Meepian said the province values tourism development as a key mechanism to drive the economy, generate income for residents, and improve local quality of life. This project implements tourism policies by linking sports, community lifestyle, and multi-sector participation to position Pathum Thani as a national sport tourism destination.

Sasirin Disawanont, Provincial Tourism and Sports Officer, said the project aims to promote year-round travel, boost community tourism, connect learning centers and key attractions, and build a new image of the province as a city of learning and experience tourism. It also aims to distribute income widely among entrepreneurs, shops, community enterprises, and local people. The event features three main routes covering all seven districts of Pathum Thani:

First event on Saturday, 5 September 2026, with 750 participants cycling three routes across three districts.

  • Mueang Pathum Thani, Sam Khok, and Lat Lum Kaeo Districts in Pathum Thani Province.

Starting at Point 1: Thept Pathum Park, Mueang Pathum Thani; Point 2: Tao Ong Ang Ancient Site and Sing Temple, Sam Khok; Point 3: 200-year-old Mosque, Lat Lum Kaeo; Point 4: Pinfa Farm, Lat Lum Kaeo.

Second event on Saturday, 12 September 2026, with 500 participants cycling two routes across two districts.

  • Lam Luk Ka and Thanyaburi Districts in Pathum Thani Province.

Starting at Point 1: Don Yai Temple, Lam Luk Ka; Point 2: Na Boon Temple, Thanyaburi; Point 3: Tosamintharapirom Park, Thanyaburi.

Third event on Sunday, 13 September 2026, with 500 participants cycling two routes across two districts.

  • Khlong Luang and Nong Suea Districts in Pathum Thani Province.

Starting at Point 1: Panyanantaram Temple, Khlong Luang; Point 2: Bueng Ba Prapasawat Temple, Nong Suea; Point 3: Royal Palm Trees planted by the monarch, Nong Suea.

Each route will take participants to important tourist sites, ancient community temples, local markets, learning centers, and unique natural attractions, offering experiences that truly reflect the charm of Pathum Thani Province.

Sanphet Haritkul, Chairman of the Pathum Thani Bicycle Tourism Club, said all routes are designed for cycling suitability, safety, beauty, and connectivity to attractions. Cyclists will experience important temples, agricultural gardens, community classes, and sites with historical and cultural value, helping generate income for businesses and communities along the routes.

Sakorn Amphin, President of the Pathum Thani Sports Association, highlighted Pathum Thani’s potential as a cycling city, especially Nong Suea District, which offers ideal routes for tourism and exercise due to its landscape, safety, and facilities. He supports making Pathum Thani a top destination for cyclists nationwide.

Norathep Nontharat, actor and sports artist, invited the public, cyclists, and tourists nationwide to join the Caravan Bike Rally Pathum Thani 2026 to discover the province’s charm from new perspectives of sports, culture, lifestyle, and experience tourism, while supporting the grassroots economy and creating memorable moments together.

The Provincial Office of Tourism and Sports believes the Caravan Bike Rally Pathum Thani 2026 will be a key event to raise tourism awareness, stimulate travel by Thai and international tourists, and foster collaboration among government, citizens, and stakeholders to develop Pathum Thani’s tourism sustainably and with quality growth.
