A 10-day festival is being prepared to celebrate sweet langsat and longkong fruits, promoting OTOP products of Uttaradit Province while creating opportunities and expanding marketing channels for agricultural goods.
On 8 Sep 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that at Rangsarit Garden, Fai Luang Subdistrict, Laplae District, Uttaradit Province, Mr. Sorapong Manasuk-anun, Deputy Governor of Uttaradit, chaired the press conference announcing the 2026 sweet langsat, longkong, and OTOP product festival. Also present were Ms. Wanlapa Panta, Uttaradit Agriculture Officer, representatives from Community Development and Commerce departments, and other government and network partners.
The Uttaradit Provincial Agriculture Office under the Department of Agricultural Extension, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, is organizing the sweet langsat, longkong, and OTOP product festival in Uttaradit to create opportunities and expand marketing channels for agricultural products. The main activity focuses on promoting and developing tourism.
The event includes opportunities to see, shop, and taste sweet langsat and longkong fruits; booths selling agricultural OTOP and SME products as well as community enterprise items; a sweet langsat and longkong salad competition; contests for sweet langsat and longkong; exhibitions showcasing agricultural technology and innovation; sales promotion and tourism activities; and music and entertainment performances by youth, students, and famous artists throughout the 10 nights.
The public and tourists from both Thailand and nearby provinces are invited to experience the festival atmosphere and support purchasing the province’s renowned fruits—sweet langsat and longkong—as well as OTOP products. The festival will be held from 18 to 27 Sep 2026 GMT+7, lasting 10 days and nights at the Phra Yapi Chai Dab Hak Stadium in Mueang District, Uttaradit Province.
