Thai Kansai Paint Awards Scholarships and Donates Funds for School Building in Chiang Mai

"Thai Kansai Paint" awarded scholarships for the year 2026 to students at Wat Rong Wua School in Chiang Mai province, along with donating funds for building construction, school supplies, and more to expand educational opportunities.

Dr. Jamnong Aswaruangchai, chairman of Thai Kansai Paint Co., Ltd., and Khun Kanjana Aswaruangchai presided over the 2026 scholarship presentation to students at Wat Rong Wua School in Mae Ka subdistrict, San Pa Tong district, Chiang Mai. They also hosted a lunch for the students. In addition to awarding scholarships, Dr. Jamnong and Khun Kanjana donated funds to build classrooms, a cafeteria, renovate and build sports fields, provided a van for school activities, purchased desks and chairs, and supported the school in many other ways to expand educational opportunities for the students. Khun Pichayapak Nola, the school principal, received the donations.


Additionally, there was a ceremony to present “Tra Pad” mosquito repellent paint, a new water-based innovation under Thailand’s first brand by Thai Kansai Paint Co., Ltd., which protects against mosquitoes for up to 70 months and is certified by the Department of Medical Sciences and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This was given to Ban Huai Mae Ja Kaan Border Patrol Police Memorial School in Ping Khong subdistrict, Chiang Dao district, Chiang Mai. Khun Kamjan Ruenthanwong, the school principal, accepted the paint to use on the school buildings. The school was established in 1975 and became a Border Patrol Police school named Border Patrol Police School No. 107. In 1998, Border Patrol Police Company 33 transferred the school to the Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office, renaming it Ban Mae Ja Kaan School. Currently, Khun Kamjan Ruenthanwong serves as the school principal.
