"Lawyer" of the karma-correcting teacher confirmed a change of the lawyer handling the case, pointing out it was for easier coordination with the Crime Suppression Division, located in Bangkok. He affirmed there has been no concern so far and that the case is being fought according to the law.
On 11 May 2026, Mr. Sataporn Suwanjerdjit, the lawyer for the karma-correcting teacher, revealed that after he publicly addressed the media and the case details for several consecutive days,the legal caseof the teacher, disciples and the teacher themselves discussed and agreed to appoint a lawyer based in Bangkok to handle the case instead. This was because coordination with the Crime Suppression Division would be more convenient than for him, who is based in Chiang Mai. His role as the teacher’s lawyer concluded on 10 May 2026.
When asked about any concerns regarding the case, he said there were none, as they are proceeding according to legal procedures with available means to fight the case. He believes he has fulfilled his duties completely while representing the teacher, trusts the new legal team will perform well, and is ready to provide all case information from the start up to now to the new team.
