Owner Deeply Concerned, Searching for Pi Xia Scottish Fold Cat Missing for Over a Month, Offering 100,000 Baht Reward

The owner is very worried and has issued a search for "Pi Xia," an affectionate Scottish Fold cat with a distinctive small brown spot on its left cheek near the nose. The cat has been missing from home for nearly a month. Anyone who finds and returns it will immediately receive a reward of 100,000 baht.

On 18 June 2026, reporters visited the area to follow up on a Facebook post by "Benjarat Fuwongsitt," who announced a search for "Pi Xia," a beloved cat missing from home for over a month. A reward of 100,000 baht is offered to anyone who finds and safely cares for the cat.

Reporters met with the poster, Dr. Benjarat Fuwongsitt, owner of "Nirin Clinic Chiang Rai (Nirin Clinic by Dr. Ben)," located inside the Ban Niratti Chiang Rai project, Moo 22, Wiang Burapha Road, Rob Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Rai District, Chiang Rai Province. She sadly explained that Pi Xia is a 2-year-old male Scottish Fold Longhair cat with white and orange fur, folded ears, large round brown eyes, and a key distinguishing feature: a small brown spot on his left cheek near the nose.

Pi Xia just turned two years old. He is normally kept strictly indoors and has never been outside or touched the ground before, which makes the family deeply worried and anxious about how he will survive amid the weather and rain.

Dr. Benjarat recounted the incident: On 18 May 2026, around 4 to 5 a.m., the house door was likely not fully closed, allowing all four cats to escape. Three have since been found and returned, but Pi Xia remains missing. The family has tried all means over the past month, including checking neighborhood CCTV, visiting reported sighting locations, and relying on spiritual beliefs such as fortune telling and making offerings at Chiang Rai's sacred sites like King Mengrai the Great and the City Pillar (Sae Du Muang), but there has been no progress.

"I admit that as time passes, hope diminishes, but I will never give up or stop searching as long as there is no news of his death. Pi Xia is not just a pet but a beloved child and important family member with a sweet, affectionate nature who loves to snuggle and greet us. I cry every day missing him," the owner said.

Regarding the reward of 100,000 baht, Dr. Benjarat confirmed she is ready to give it immediately to anyone who safely returns Pi Xia. She added that no amount of money can compare to his value, and no sum can replace him.

She earnestly appeals for kindness: if anyone sees a dog or cat of this breed that has escaped, or if someone has taken Pi Xia in without knowing about the search, please kindly return him safely to the family. The family promises no legal action or charges will be taken. Anyone with information or sightings of "Pi Xia" can contact 095-4458220, 089-4194299, or 089-4298884 anytime, 24 hours a day.
