DDPM Sends Cell Broadcast Flood Warning for Pua District, Nan Province After Continuous Heavy Rain

The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) sends Cell Broadcast to warn of flooding in Pua District, Nan Province, following continuous heavy rain with risks of flash floods, riverbank overflow, and landslides.


On 19 August 2026, FacebookDDPM posted a message stating that"The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) reports that Pua District continues to experience heavy, ongoing rainfall, posing risks of flash floods, riverbank overflow, and landslides. Residents are advised to immediately move belongings to higher ground and relocate vulnerable groups such as the elderly and bedridden patients. For evacuation or assistance, please contact local officials including subdistrict heads, village chiefs, and local administrative organizations, and closely follow official updates in the area."

DDPM, in cooperation with mobile network operators AIS, True, and NT, has sent an Extreme Alert Cell Broadcast warning about flooding in Pua District, Nan Province.
