Residents along canals and low-lying hillside areas are urged to be vigilant for flash floods, landslides, and river overflows, and to move belongings to higher ground and relocate vehicles.

On 20 Aug 2026 GMT+7, the Nan Provincial Public Relations Facebook page posted an update reporting the situation. Rain bands moved into Nan Province at 20:00 on 20 Aug 2026 GMT+7, entering northern zones and moving toward central areas. Authorities warn of flash floods, flash floods, and landslides.

DDPM collaborated with mobile network providers AIS, True, and NT to send Cell Broadcast warnings about heavy rain in Chaloem Phra Kiat, Bo Kluea, and Thung Chang districts of Nan Province.
