At 11:30 a.m. on 13 Dec 2025 GMT+7, reporters reported that clashes at the Thai-Cambodian border in Kantharalak district, Sisaket province, have been ongoing since early morning with exchanges of fire continuing until now.
Multiple BM-21 rockets landed near communities close to the border, initially causing damage to two houses and injuring five people. Among the injured, one is critically wounded with an arm severed. Authorities have transported the injured to the hospital for treatment.
Regarding this matter, the Facebook page of the Sisaket Provincial Public Relations Office posted images of official orders, reiterating a strong warning to residents in the risk zones to refrain from returning to their homes near the border.
Meanwhile, Mr. Anurat Thammaprajamjit, Governor of Sisaket province, stated that residents are strictly prohibited from returning to their homes due to ongoing clashes. He urged the public to closely follow official updates. Each shelter center is organizing activities to alleviate stress among evacuees. The province will continue to provide full assistance and care to the injured.
