On 23 Dec 2025, Major General Boonsin Padklang, Advisor to the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army and former Commander of the 2nd Army Region, visited personnel in the Chong Bok area to encourage soldiers serving on the frontlines amid security challenges along the border.
Major General Boonsin met with troops to inquire about their living conditions and duties, and presented them with essential goods and supplies to boost morale for those steadfastly and selflessly protecting the nation's sovereignty.
At 16:30, Major General Boonsin, representing the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army, visited and offered support to civilians affected by the Thai-Cambodian fighting at a displacement center in Ubon Ratchathani Province.
