On 8 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Gen. Natthaphon Nakpanich, the Minister of Defense, inspected Chong Bok and Chong An Ma, strategic areas along the Thai border, to closely monitor security conditions and to receive reports on the area's status and military operations by responsible units.
This visit aimed to monitor the border area's situation, especially key strategic zones vital to national security, as well as to assess the readiness of personnel and operational activities on the ground.
Additionally, the Defense Minister expressed gratitude and admiration for all personnel who perform their duties with sacrifice, endurance, and dedication to safeguard the nation's sovereignty, stressing the crucial role of the military as the main force protecting Thailand's land.
He met and spoke with troops in the area, delivering morale-boosting supplies to strengthen the spirits of all personnel on duty, assuring that the Ministry of Defense will fully support them to carry out their missions effectively and safely.
