At 06:44 on 27 Feb 2026 GMT+7, reporters received news that earlier this morning an incident occurred.An incident happened.A soldier assigned to Company 233, 23rd Infantry Battalion, 3rd Infantry Regiment, stepped on an anti-personnel mine inside the Erawan operational base.

The injured soldier was identified as Private Detsak Trikam. The explosion caused his right leg to be amputated, and his left arm and leg were wounded by shrapnel, leaving him in critical condition.

Following the incident, unit personnel promptly administered first aid before transferring him to Kabchoeng Hospital for close medical treatment.
