Sisaket Municipality is preparing to host the 38th "Phranang Si Cup," the oldest football tournament in Sisaket, competing for the Royal Trophy, aiming to raise the province's sports level to national standards.

On 1 May 2026, at the Chalerm Phra Kiat 60th Birthday Anniversary Building meeting room, Satri Sirikhet School, Mueang District, Sisaket Province, Mr. Anurat Thammaprajamjit, Governor of Sisaket, presided over the ceremony to receive the Royal Trophies from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn for the general public category, and from Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana for the senior men’s category, for the 38th "Phranang Si Cup" football competition for the year 2026.

After receiving the Royal Trophies, Mr. Sukit Luangsakulthai, Deputy Governor of Sisaket, together with Mr. Ratthawit Angkasakulkiat, Chairman of the Sisaket Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Khomsan Permboon, Deputy Mayor of Sisaket Municipality, and Mr. Manaswee Ja-kaew, Deputy Rector of the National Sports University, Sisaket Campus, held a joint press conference regarding the organization of this football event.

This competition is one of the longest-standing events in Sisaket Province, continuously developing sports resources, especially quality football players, who have gained national recognition over many generations through the "Phranang Si Cup." The organizing team is dedicated to establishing local competition standards and elevating them to national levels. This supports Sisaket’s drive to become a leading sports city in Thailand, promoting regular exercise and sports participation among the public, and providing a platform to nurture athletes toward professional excellence.

The 38th "Phranang Si Cup" football competition has been adjusted to include two categories: the general men's category, whose champion receives the Royal Trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn for the third consecutive year, and the senior men's category, whose champion receives the Royal Trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana. This year, a total of 37 teams are participating.

The competition will run from 12 to 27 May 2026 at Srinakorn Lamduan Stadium, National Sports University Sisaket Campus, and Sisaket Provincial Sports School. The champion team in the general men's category will receive a cash prize of 100,000 baht along with the Royal Trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The senior men's champion team will receive 40,000 baht and the Royal Trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana.
