“Tiger,” a famous amulet expert in Nakhon Ratchasima, was found dead beside the restroom at Hua Thale Amulet Market. Relatives said he called to say he felt faint, then contact was lost until he was found deceased.
At 14:30 on 1 Sep 2026, Sawang Metta Thammasathan Nakhon Ratchasima rescue workers received a report of a man found dead near a restroom inside the Hua Thale Amulet Center, Nai Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. They proceeded to the scene with police from Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima Police Station amid a crowd of locals and amulet experts gathered to watch.
At the scene near the restroom within the Hua Thale Amulet Center, the body of Napor Khansirimongkol, 54, nicknamed Tiger, a well-known amulet expert in Nakhon Ratchasima who worked as an amulet buyer and seller, was found lying on the ground wearing a long-sleeve shirt and jeans. The body was starting to stiffen, and officials estimated he had been dead for at least three hours. The body was about 500 meters from his amulet stall.
Mrs. Supaporn, 54, a relative of the deceased, said that before the incident, he called to tell family he felt faint and asked to be picked up. He had underlying conditions of diabetes and high blood pressure. People in the market searched for him but could not find him. Later, someone using the restroom found him unconscious nearby and then learned he had passed away.
Mr. Thaingam Thiansiri, caretaker of the Hua Thale Amulet Center, said the deceased was a regular amulet trader at the market. After hearing he had called family saying he was about to faint, the market community helped search but could not locate him until someone found his body near the restroom.
Police are currently conducting a detailed examination of the scene and cause of death before proceeding with further legal steps.
