Pa Da Requests to Postpone Case Submission to Prosecutor until December Police Chief Objects, Sets 15-Day Deadline

Progress in the Wat Pa Adunyaram dispute case: "Pa Da" requests postponing the case submission to the prosecutor from the original 22 Oct to 3 Dec 2026. The police chief of Mueang Khon Kaen objects, saying the delay is too long and sets a 15-day deadline to meet the prosecutor.

On 22 October 2026, it was reported that yesterday (21 Oct), Mr. Ananchai Chaiyadej posted on Facebook an update regarding the case involving Ms. Chommanee, also known as "Pa Da," and others. The post stated, "Breaking news! Pa Da and associates request to postpone police submission of the case to the prosecutor from tomorrow to 3 Dec. The Mueang Khon Kaen police chief objects, saying it’s too long, and sets a 15-day deadline to meet the prosecutor by 2 Nov this year! Why aren’t they as competent as during the press conference?"

The reporter further stated that the case involving Pa Da stems from a dispute within Wat Pa Adunyaram, where the entrance was blocked on 10 August 2026. Following this, legal proceedings and investigations were conducted against those involved. Subsequently, on 18 September 2026 at 09:30, Ms. Chommanee, or Pa Da, along with eight others named in summonses including Mrs. Buakai, went to meet investigators at Mueang Khon Kaen Police Station to hear the charges. All accused denied the allegations.

Pa Da faces charges related to joint trespassing, gang-related crimes, intimidation causing fear, and Section 112 violations, while Mrs. Buakai is accused of filing false complaints. Police stated at the time there were no arrests or bail since the accused appeared voluntarily following summons. Evidence is being gathered to finalize the case file before scheduling a hearing to submit the accused and documents to the prosecutor according to procedure.
