An LGBTQ individual was arrested for methamphetamine and ice possession in Phatthalung. Experiencing extreme stress, he fainted and collapsed at the police station. Officers performed CPR before urgently transporting him to the hospital. His condition is now stable.

On 22 Jan 2026 GMT+7, reporters received a report that Police Lieutenant Colonel Wirat Jeenmuang, head of the Phatthalung Provincial Police Narcotics Suppression Division, led officers to search a rental house in Ban Nang Lat community, Soi 1, Sanet Charoen Road, Khuha Sawan Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phatthalung Province. They arrested Mr. Priban, aged 41, an LGBTQ individual, after learning he was secretly selling methamphetamine and ice from the house. The search yielded 138 methamphetamine tablets, 1.2 grams of ice, drug paraphernalia, and small bags for resale.

Initially, the suspect confessed to both selling and using drugs. He admitted purchasing drugs from a female friend named Prang and reselling them. Police then took him to the station for further questioning.

During interrogation, Mr. Priban became severely stressed and fainted. Officers intervened, performing CPR until his condition improved. Rescue personnel were notified and transported him to Phatthalung Hospital. His current condition is reported as stable.

Mr. Priban, an LGBTQ individual, has a history of three prior drug-related arrests. Despite serving his sentences, he resumed selling drugs after release.
