Police are urgently tracing the identity of an unidentified man found dead inside the home of a famous DJ in Nakhon Si Thammarat. The autopsy revealed a tooth lodged in the windpipe. The former DJ and homeowner disappeared after the incident and cannot be reached.
In Nakhon Si Thammarat, authorities found an unidentified man's body in a swollen state on a bed inside a house in Pho Sadet Subdistrict, Mueang District. There were no signs of a struggle. The homeowner mysteriously disappeared and turned off his phone. Around the house, a Jatukam amulet coin was hanging on the CCTV camera, and a white cloth covered the spirit house. It is suspected that sorcery rituals were performed to trap spirits before the homeowner fled. The CCTV memory cards inside the house were also removed. The body was sent for an autopsy to determine the true cause of death, as previously reported.
Today (22 July 2026), at Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat Police Station, the investigative team is still tracing the identity of the unidentified man found dead in the house and awaiting autopsy results to determine the exact cause of death.
Meanwhile, a relative, the former DJ's aunt, who lives opposite the house where the incident occurred, said she usually does not know much about her nephew's activities, whereabouts, or companions. Attempts to contact him by phone have failed. Normally, he drives two cars: a white Mazda parked in front of the house where the incident happened, and a pink car of unknown make and registration. On the day of the incident, while she was cleaning in front of her nephew's house, she noticed a foul smell resembling a dead rat. She asked neighbors to help check and found the odor was coming strongly from inside her nephew’s house. They reported it to the nearby Benjam intersection police post and rescue services, who then inspected and found a deceased person in the bedroom, identity unknown. The nephew has been missing and unreachable for several days. She knows little about his personal matters, as they live separately.
As for the white cloth covering the spirit house and the Jatukam amulet hanging on the CCTV camera, she said she did not know who did it or the purpose behind it.
A reporter later reported that the preliminary autopsy by forensic doctors at Maharaj Nakhon Si Thammarat Hospital found no injuries or signs of assault on the mysterious man's body. Only a dental filling was lodged in his windpipe. The deceased’s identity could not be confirmed, as no identification documents were found on him, and there have been no missing person reports in the area. The doctors estimate the man to be about 30 to 40 years old.
