On the morning of 26 Jul 2026 GMT+7, at all four Nakhon Si Thammarat exam centers, candidates dressed in full khaki official uniforms arrived energetically early. Strict controls were enforced at Nakhon Si Thammarat Technical College, Vocational College, Kalyani School, and Muang Nakhon Si Thammarat School, prohibiting outsiders and relatives from entering the exam venues. Bringing water, mobile phones, tablets, and other communication devices into the exam rooms was strictly forbidden. Checks were more rigorous than in previous years. Only pencils, pens, erasers, pencil sharpeners, and ID cards were allowed inside. Candidates were required to enter exam rooms from 08:15 onwards. The atmosphere was orderly.
One candidate said they were confident the exam would be transparent and had no worries. They intended to follow all exam regulations carefully, as they are already a government official. This contrasted with the previous local exam round. They firmly believed there would be no corruption in this exam. Several others declined to comment, fearing they might violate regulations.
