Repair Completed on Southern Railway Line between Mue Rubo and Tanyongmas Stations Train Service Resumes Normally

Repair work has been completed on the Southern Railway Line segment between stations "Mue Rubo – Tanyongmas" Following bomb damage, the State Railway of Thailand has issued the latest update confirming that train services have resumed normal operation since 18:30 today.

On 24 Aug 2026 GMT+7, the Facebook page "PR Team of the State Railway of Thailand" posted that the SRT reported progress on the bomb incident near km 1090/6-7 between Mue Rubo and Tanyongmas stations. The railway officials have completed repair and restoration of the damaged track segment and reopened train services along this route starting from 18:30 today.

After the incident, the SRT coordinated closely with security forces and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit to conduct a thorough area inspection. Once safety was confirmed, railway personnel promptly deployed materials and maintenance equipment to urgently repair and restore the damaged railway section, ensuring the track structure regained stability, strength, and compliance with safety standards for train operations.
