"Kamnan Mano," leader of the PRCPL, gave a speech at Khuan Nong Hong Intersection in Nakhon Si Thammarat before leading a crowd to storm the Government House, demanding the government immediately cut diesel prices by 10 baht.
At 09:00 on 5 Nov 2026 at Khuan Nong Hong Intersection along the northbound Asia Highway 41 in Khuan Nong Hong Subdistrict, Cha-uat District, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Mano Khrueakaew, village headman of Krabi Noi Subdistrict and leader of the People's Revolution Coalition to Protect the Land (PRCPL), arrived at the protest rally point preparing to travel to Bangkok. Thousands of protesters gathered energetically, causing traffic congestion. A stage was set up on the back of a pickup truck where Kamnan Mano and other leaders took turns speaking for about three hours before the group departed immediately for Bangkok.
Tonight, the group will rest overnight in Surat Thani Province. They plan to hold speeches there before continuing their march tomorrow (6 Nov) toward the Government House to stage their protest.
Kamnan Mano, or Mano Khrueakaew, stated that this protest by himself and the suffering people aims to urgently urge the government to address public hardships. The first demand is an immediate diesel price cut of 10 baht per liter. They also call for prompt action against the widespread drug problems currently plaguing the city.
Mano also explained that the motivation for this movement comes from the public's suffering due to high fuel and goods prices, stagnant wages, and unemployment. This led to the formation of the People's Revolution Coalition to Protect the Land (PRCPL), where "people's revolution" means empowering the people to be wiser. They plan to travel to the Prime Minister at the Government House to make him aware of the people's hardships.
